Who is the ideal candidate for Manager in Process Innovation?

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead internal company process improvement projects and initiatives through evaluation of current work processes and identification of improvement strategies

  • Manage relationships and expectations with both internal and external key project stakeholders

  • Facilitate business requirement gathering and manage comprehensive project documentation

  • Develop process to efficiently manage, monitor, and track project deliverables, budget and expenses

  • Perform financial and detail expense analysis of project and departmental budgets

  • Direct and perform ad hoc projects and analysis as assigned by management, working independently or with cross functional teams

  • Evaluate business needs and initiate quantitative and/or qualitative analysis to support project proposal or evaluation results

  • Work closely with the project team to monitor changes to the project budget and update timely information to all relevant budget and project owners

  • Conduct meetings with project team to communicate project status, budget and expense status

  • Assist in preparing MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Power Point materials to be presented within and/or outside of the PI team

  • Present analysis results to internal and external stakeholders

  • Assist manager for all project related tasks

Necessary Skills / Attributes

Background/Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or related field. Will also accept a Bachelor’s degree in the above related field and 7 years of related experience.

  • Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in the job offered or occupation performing budget management, and financial and operational analysis or audits.

  • Experience in developing financial and operational analysis and presentation to management

  • Demonstrated ability to identify areas of process improvement and managing improvement projects until completion

  • Experience in business process review and analysis, managing departmental and project budgets

  • Ability to train and mentor junior employees for team culture and improve skill sets for overall team

  • Ability to cultivate strong collaborative working relationships and contacts within a work group, across other company functions and with external organizations

  • Proven ability to influence others and drive meaningful change results

  • Detail-oriented person with strong leadership experience willing to take on a challenge

  • Demonstrated effective writing, public speaking, and training skills

  • Ability to prepare written materials and reports

  • Ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships within multiple levels of the company and with external contacts including customers, sales & equipment service representatives, vendors, etc.

  • Ability to gather and analyze data from multiple sources, prepare spreadsheets, charts, graphs and tables of information and to plan and prioritize multiple work assignments.

  • Work under very little supervision and guidance to identify and ensure achievement of production team goals and to complete individual work assignments within established time frames.
