Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Data analysis of error reports to identify trends and offer potential solutions

  • Identify new and existing internal EDI errors to diagnosis and correct on-going report processing

  • Maintain weekly logs and produce statistical reports utilizing Microsoft Excel & Access

  • Engage with internal contacts, clients, and outside vendors to trouble-shoot and rectify issues

  • Daily review and management of interface error log

  • Provide clients with tier 1 interface support

  • Implementation of low level complexity EDI interface projects

  • Recommend and implement process and functionality improvements

  • Perform maintenance on existing EDI client setups

  • Create and maintain working SOP's

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required

  • Associates degree within Information Technology or Computer Science is preferred

  • Prior experience in an IT position and/or customer service is preferred

  • Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)

  • Ability to prioritize, multi task and work independently

  • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal

  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment

  • Strong organizational and problem solving skills

  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed
