Responsibility for the management of the compensation and benefits programs for North America. In conjunction with support staff, will recommend to management directions the benefit offerings should take in order to maintain compliance with ACA and deliver the most cost effective product for the organization. Maintain and develop compensation programs designed to maintain competitiveness in the market and reward employees.

/Work Experience Needed:/*
At least ten to fifteen years of HR experience focusing on Compensation and Benefit programs.Sales compensation experience a plus
Experience with Canadian benefit programs preferred
Required Skills
/Special Skills/Abilities Needed:/*
Must have excellent personal computer; project planning, organizational and problem solving skills.
A thorough knowledge of MS Office Suite, with a proficiency in Excel
Strong written and oral communications skills in order to deal effectively with staff and management.
Thorough understanding of HR processes
/Education/Equivalent:/*
BA or equivalent work experience. CCP or CEBS preferred
Required Experience
- Nature and Scope of Responsibilities*
Manage the benefit offerings for the US population
Primary point of contact for the benefit administration vendor
Recommend modifications or improvements for benefit plan design to accommodate ACA
Responsible for ACA reporting including oversight of the ADP ACA compliance vendor
Work with vendors to resolve employee issues that have been escalated beyond the HRESC
Review all benefit costs to determine where issues occur and recommend resolutions to the issues
Develop and implement compensation programs to ensure market competitiveness
Update Successfactors system with annual merit increase criteria
In conjunction with Sr. Compensation Analyst, recommend merit increase percentage based on market data.
Develop and implement merit matrix based on approved budget.
Manage overall compensation spend.
Develop sales compensation program designed to reward and retain employees
